UEFA “A” Licence Coach
Liam`s football career started as an apprentice footballer at Rotherham United. He them went to Northumbria University where he studied Sports Science graduating in 2007 with a BSc (Hons).
Whilst at University he played a key role in the development of the University Football Programme not only playing for Team Northumbria in the Northern league but also coaching the Team Northumbria Womens team. It was a while at College he started taking his coaching qualifications.
On leaving College he was appointed the Head Coach at The Northumberland Football Partnership and in 2007 took up the role of Football Development Officer.
He has continued his playing career in the Northern League with Consett, Bishop Auckland, and Brandon.
In 2009 he successfully completed his UEFA “A” Licence at Lilleshall. He has just recently been appointed as an Academy Coach at Newcastle United.
He delivers Level 1 Coach Education Courses for Northumberland F.A. Liam is one of the most promising young coaches in the area.
