UEFA “A” Licence Coach

Ben is the Football Development Officer at Newcastle United Foundation and coaches at their Academy. He started his playing carreer in the USA when he  gained a football scholarship to Pennsylvania University where he achieved a degree in Sports Management., He went on to represent Great Britain in the World Student Games. Having completed University he returned to England and played for Queen of the South in the Scottish League and  then moved on to Northern League side West Allotment Celtic.  Ben worked full time at  the Newcasle Football Development Scheme whilst taking a M.Sc. degree. He has completed  all his coaching qualifications and achieved his "A" Licence in 2009. He is now working with the The Football Association delivering the F.A. Youth Awards in the North East.
