The Northumberland Football Partnership runs the advanced coaching academy at the Wentworth Leisure Centre. The programme runs on a weekly basis throughout the full football season from September to April.
Our coaching staff recommend promising players from all our weekly coaching academies, soccerweeks and school programmes to join the advanced academy. The coaching programme is structured to help the players develop all the key football techniques and to then apply them in game situations.
At present we run 4 age groups.
The Advanced Coaching Academy has been running for 11 years and many of the players have gone on to become excellent players or coaches.
Our key objective is to help all the players on the programme to maximise their potential and help them enjoy their football in a positive and supportive environment.
