The Northumberland Football Partnership was established in 1994 by Barney Jones to provide a football coaching service to schools, clubs, colleges and individuals in Northumberland.
The NFP rightly holds an excellent reputation for providing an educational and caring approach to all aspects of coaching football.
Barney Jones was Head of Physical Education at a large comprehensive School before becoming the Football Development officer for Newcastle upon Tyne. He holds the UEFA 'A' Coaching Licence and is a Lead Tutor for the Football Association.
Barney has coached and managed teams at Senior Non - League Level as well as School, County and University representative sides.
At present Barney is the Head Coach at Northumbria University.
